      <image:title>Home - I’m on your team.</image:title>
<image:caption>If you are someone who intellectualizes your problems, you are in the right place. Many of my clients feel frustrated because they are used to thinking their way out of problems and working harder to progress- but it’s no longer working. I’ll work with you to understand your issues in a different way and help you use your strengths to work towards positive change. Together, we’ll figure out what is getting in the way.</image:caption>

<image:title>About - I believe that change happens when people draw on their own experiences and cultivate their strengths to learn how to become comfortable with themselves. This isn't always easy, and it requires a bit of risk taking. You may feel uncomfortable with the idea of confronting aspects of your life that aren't working well. When we are together, I want you to open up about your world as it is now and how you want it to improve. I will be there to hear you and understand what you have been going through with compassion and thoughtful curiosity to help uncover your strengths and bring a fresh perspective.</image:title>
<image:caption>My interests and therapeutic style developed through working with high functioning men and women and helping them explore their actions in a place where it was safe to discuss their feelings and doubts without fear of retribution, shaming, or rejection. I worked with clients imparting skills to enhance resilience and encouraging growth. I earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University Silver School of Social Work and am trained in and utilize a variety of evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing, 12-step abstinence informed treatment, and harm reduction.</image:caption>
